Renfro, one of the world's leading sock manufacturers, has signed a cooperation agreement for pebblestone|fashion, K3’s powerful and industry-specific fashion software.
Renfro B.V. is the European head office of Renfro Corporation (US). The US headquarters is mainly concerned with the design/merchandising, production, marketing and sales/distribution of global brands (Hot Sox, k. Bell) and licenses (including Polo Ralph Lauren, Carhartt, Fruit of the Loom, New Balance, Dr. Scholl's). Renfro B.V. focuses on the European sock market with its own brands, but also through cooperation with other brands (including Scholl and Momiji). At the office in Amstelveen the departments Sales (and back office), Finance, Design and Marketing are located.
Local sales managers are active on the German, French, UK, Spanish, Portuguese, Baltic and Scandinavian market. Through a 3PL-party (external logistics service provider) stock is distributed directly to the retailers.
As a result of the enormous growth of the Renfro organisation, a new business management system became a necessity, in order to bring the organisation to the next level. Renfro enforces its cooperation with retailers with EDI and especially abroad with renewed stock control models. In order to achieve this, a solution had to be implemented that integrates the wholesale processes and optimises communication with the retailers. In addition, the communication with the external logistics service provider will be integrated.
The fashion wholesale solution based on Microsoft Dynamics NAV, pebblestone|fashion, provides in these needs, which is one of the reasons for Renfro B.V. to work with this all-round service package. The objective of the software implementation project is to prepare the organisation for future expansion, which will also include implementing and integrating the systems of foreign branches.
